Angie Gainey- Comfort Colors- Youth + Adult

Angie Corbitt Gainey suffered a stroke on May 1, 2025, and was life flighted to Memorial in Savannah. She underwent brain surgery and was in ICU for more than three weeks.  After 28 days at Memorial, she was transferred to Brooks Rehabilitation in Jacksonville on May 28th where she will spend the next several weeks regaining her strength, mobility and independence. Her husband, John, has not left her side and has been her source of calm reassurance and encouragement during this very scary time. Until recently, John was utilizing his paid leave from his job, but that has now been exhausted. Angie didn't have paid leave at her job, and it is unknown when she will be able to return to employment. These next few months will be filled with challenges--but also with hope. This family is so precious to many of us, and we are trying to relieve some of their financial strain so the focus can remain on Angie's recovery. Any money raised during this time will go directly to Angie and John.
